Crossing the Sea of Galilee, heading for its eastern shore, a fierce wind with mighty waves comes up, and Jesus calms this, which staggers His disciples. Then on shore, a demon-possessed man comes to Jesus, who expels the demons from the man who is restored to his right mind.

John was the only apostle of Jesus present at the crucifixion, along with Mary the mother of Jesus. He saw Jesus’ dying and death, including when His side was pierced with a spear and so saw blood and water gush out of Jesus’ side.
